Welcome to Christian Church of Canarsie Church

As Christians associated together for the fellowship and service to glorify GOD, we formulate the following doctrines:

(A).  We believe in the scriptures of the Old and New Testament as inspired by GOD, and they are the final authority in faith and life.

(B). We believe in one GOD, eternally existing in three persons:

The FATHER, SON AND HOLY GHOST

(C).  We believe that JESUS CHRIST, the second person of the trinity, was begotten by the HOLY GHOST and born of the Virgin Mary.

(D). We believe in the HOLY GHOST, the third person of the trinity, ever present and active in and with the Church of Christ, convicting the world of sin, regenerating those who repent, sanctifying believers and guiding into all truth as it is in JESUS CHRIST.

(E). We believe that man was created in the image of GOD; that he by voluntary transgression incurred not only physical death but also that spiritual death, which is separation from GOD.

(F). We believe that the LORD JESUS CHRIST died for our sins according to the scriptures, and in the atonement through the substitutionary death of CHRIST.

(G). We believe in the ordinance of Baptism, as commanded in the scriptures, to be observed by all who have truly repented toward GOD and accepted JESUS CHRIST as Savior and Lord.

(H). We believe the Lord's Supper, a memorial of His suffering and death is enjoined to all believers "until He comes".

(I). We believe that the Baptism in the    Holy Ghost, is the act of GOD,   subsequent to conversion, by which the believer comes into the state of enduement of power for life and service.

(J).  We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of GOD through the Spirit, composed of all born again persons, whose names are written in the book of life.

(K). We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

(L)  We believe that the return of the Lord for those who are His own is imminent and is the blessed hope of the Church.

(M). We believe all who truly believe in and obediently follow JESUS CHRIST our Lord shall live forever in heaven and all who persistently reject CHRIST and His salvation shall be consigned to everlasting punishment.



(N). We believe in the institution of marriage as designed by God the Creator, to be a life long union between one man and one woman, and that God hates divorce, (Genesis 2:18, 20-24; 1Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 13:4; Malachi 2:14-16; Mathew 19:1-6). We do not recognize and will not solemnize same-sex marriages. We recognize that same-sex marriage violates the divine ideal and the homosexual behavior is clearly and consistently condemned in scripture as unnatural and immoral (Leviticus 18:1-30; Genesis 19:5, 13; Romans 1:26-32). Employment and volunteer opportunities will not be granted for any reason, lo anyone who practices or endorses the homosexual lifestyle.
