You can never make up for your sins by self-improvement or good works. Eternal Life begins the moment you truly receive Jesus Christ as Savior into your heart by faith.
To determine if “Heaven” is your final destination, we will use God’s standard, the “Ten Commandments”, as our guide. Complete the quiz below answering to yourself whether you are innocent or guilty.
1.Have you ever told a lie?
*(Little white lies count)
2.Have you ever stolen anything?
3.Have you ever committed adultery?
*In Matthew 5:28, Jesus tells us, we commit adultery when we look upon another person with thoughts of lust in our heart…Have you looked with lust?
4.Have you ever murdered anyone?
*Remember (1 John 3:15) says...
“Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer.”
If you have answered “guilty” to one, two, three or all of the questions,
“You are considered by God’s standard,to be a lying, thief who is an adulterous murderer.”
God said in James 2:10, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” This means, even if you break one commandment, it is as if you have broken them all.
Now, looking at the answers you have checked, on the Day of Judgement when you stand before a Holy and Just God. Where will you be going?
Heaven or Hell?
ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR DESTINATION?
ARE YOU CONSIDERING CHANGING YOUR DESTINATION? FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1. Admit your guilt. “I am a sinner”
(Romans 3:23) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
2. Repent of your sins. This means, you say to God “ I have sinned and I am sorry for my sins. I am willing to change my way of living”.
(Acts 2:38) “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
(Romans 10:9) “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
4. Recieve Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior by praying, “Lord I give myself to you, come into my heart and take control of my life.”
(John 1:12) “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
IF YOU FOLLOWED THE STEPS ON THE YOUR ETERNAL DESTINATION HAS NOW BEEN CHANGED TO HEAVEN.
God we thank you for the life that has received you to be in control of their lives. We pray for your Holy Spirit to lead, guide and fill them. We pray that as they read your word that they will be taught to live a life that pleases you.
Amen.
